This handsome chap is Bob the Boat Cat, who originally came into our rescue as a stray. We helped his finder get him neutered and health-checked; he’s been flea and worm treated, and has had his first vaccination!

Bob had been living around a group of boats where no one officially claimed him. Once sorted, he returned to boat life. Sadly, his kind finder, Al, is heading back to Australia, and no one else from the boats is willing to take responsibility for Bob. Al has asked us to help rehome him because he wants Bob to have the loving home he truly deserves.

When Bob first visited the vets, he had an abscess on his face which has now healed well. He was also neutered, and since then, he’s become a whole new cat – calmer, cuddlier, and enjoying his creature comforts. He’s estimated to be about 1 year old.

Bob is absolutely adorable and stunning, with a sweet, gentle nature. He still enjoys a little outdoor time, often wandering into nearby fields, but he always sticks close by. He’s not very streetwise, having grown up in a quieter, countryside setting around boats, so he’d be best suited to a home with access to safe outdoor space, fields, or even a secure catio.
